Memorial for Tartu, Estonia, at the grave of 192 people murdered on July 9, 1941. First place of an open design competition sponsored by the Estonian Heritage Society, Estonian Architects and Artists Union in Nov. 1988. The memorial is designed to remember the 192 and the approximately 60,000 Estonians who perished during the Soviet Union's occupation of Estonia.
